A case of gang-rape has come to light with a woman working in an orchestra in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. It is alleged that four youths were raped on Saturday night in Katka area of Jhansi police station area on the pretext of getting work in the orchestra. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a gang rape case against four and arrested a youth. Police has got the girl medical. Raids are being conducted in search of other accused.

On Saturday, a young woman named Jitendra of Kaushambi, who works in an orchestra in Jaunpur, brought him to a hotel in Katka, Jhansi on the pretext of getting work done. During this, four youth gang-raped her. Somehow after getting rid of the clutches of the accused, the victim reached the Jhansi police station directly and heard the tragedy. After hearing about the victim, the police raided the whereabouts of the accused and arrested a young man and brought them to the police station.
Exploited on the pretext of getting work
On the victim’s complaint, the police registered a case against Jitendra and three unknowns and sent the victim for medical treatment. In search of other accused, police are raiding in Kaushambi, Prayagraj. According to sources, the victim was brought to the hotel for several days. He was exploited by the youths in the name of getting work.
