Due to increasing water level of Ganga, water is reaching the village.

The water level of Ganga is continuously rising in Farrukhabad. The water level has risen by 35 centimetres. In such a situation, Ganga has reached 136.55 metres close to the warning point of 136.60 metres. Ganga has started eroding in Amritpur and Kaimganj tehsil areas.

58541 cusecs of water has been released into the Ganga from the Narora dam. Due to this, the water level of the Ganga is just 5 centimeters away from the warning point. The warning point is at 136.60 meters, while the water level of the Ganga has reached 136.55. Villagers say that the fields are being eroded. Due to erosion near the village, the danger to the houses has also increased.

Water has filled the fields near villages Rampur, Jograjpur, Sabalpur, Sundarpur, Makhan Nagla etc. of Amritpur tehsil area. Officials said that there is no flood situation in any village nor is there any problem. All the Lekhpals have been ordered to stay in the area and inform about the flood.

Due to flood water, erosion has started in Ganga.

Due to the rising water level of Ganga at Panchal Ghat, water had already entered the huts of Gangaputras. Now this water has also reached the primary school situated at Panchal Ghat. It was told that due to water filling in the school, the children registered here are studying in the temple. It was also told that since the school is built in a pit, flood water fills it every year. 99 children are registered in the school. 60 to 70 children come to study every day.
