BCCI President Sourav Ganguly was discharged from the hospital on Thursday.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Sourav Ganguly was discharged from the hospital. He was hospitalized after a cardiac arrest on 2 January. Ganguly rushed home from the hospital.

On the question of taking rest, he told the media that his body will react like it does. After his discharge from the hospital, Ganguly said, ‘I thank the doctors. They took good care of me. I’m fine now. ‘

On Wednesday, the hospital administration said that Ganguly was fully fit. Even after being discharged, the doctors’ team would periodically visit Ganguly’s house and look after him.

Senior cardiac surgeon arrives to meet Ganguly
Earlier on Tuesday, senior cardiac surgeon reached Kolkata to meet the doctor Devi Shetty Ganguly. He met the medical team of 9 doctors treating Ganguly. He said, ‘Ganguly has no major problem. Blockage in coronary artery is known to all Indians. There is no problem in his heart. The heart of 48-year-old Ganguly is the same as it was 28 years ago.

Angiography and angioplasty occurred
In the Health Bulletin issued by the hospital, it was told that Ganguly’s ECG was done to know about his heart function. Respiratory rate is 15 per minute. Ganguly’s angioplasty was also done. Saroj Mondal, head of the medical team treating Ganguly, had told that Dada’s condition is stable. Soon they will be able to participate in their daily activities.

The Prime Minister also talked to his family
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had spoken to Ganguly’s wife on Sunday and inquired about Ganguly’s health. Earlier, Home Minister Amit Shah had taken a call about his health. Whereas West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee went to the hospital to see him.
