The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai has responded to GATE 2021 and has issued the date for issue of question paper. According to the institute, the answer will be released on the official website by March 2. With this, candidates can raise objections against any answer between March 2 and 4, 2021. At the same time, the result of the exam will be released on 22 March. After the release of the exam, the candidates who have appeared in the examination will be able to download it through the official website Gate.iitb.ac.in.

Objections window will be open for two days

The objections window will remain open for two days to register an objection against the answer key. For this, the candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 500 for each answer. If you find them right after studying the objections, then the final answer will be included in the key. Earlier, the institute released the response sheet of the exam. A total of 7,11,542 response sheets were live by the institute, which can be checked by candidates official website gate.iitb.ac.in.

Candidates clearing GATE are admitted to MTech courses at IITs, IISc and many other institutions. Also, they will also be eligible to apply for jobs in several Public Sector Undertaking (PSU).

Enter objections like this

  • First go to the website gate.iitb.ac.in.
  • Now click on the objection link of answer.
  • Login with the help of credentials.
  • Now click on the wrong answer, write the argument, attach supporting documents.
  • Submit after paying the objection fee.
