A fire broke out in a flat in Ghaziabad’s Vasundhara area on Thursday morning due to an AC blast. A lot of stuff in one flat was burnt, while the other flat narrowly escaped being engulfed in flames. Firefighters reached the spot and controlled the fire. It is not yet known whether the blast occurred in the AC.

The flames were reaching the second floor
Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Rahul Pal said, Ranveer Singh, who lives in Vasundhara Sector-1, called the Vaishali Fire Station at 5:30 am on Thursday and informed that a fire had broken out in his flat. On this information, two fire tenders were dispatched with the unit. When we reached the spot, the building was two-storeyed. The fire had broken out due to an AC burst on the first floor. High flames of fire were rising from the windows, which were reaching the flat on the second floor.
The flames were rising so high from the flat that they were reaching the second floor.

The fire unit immediately spread the hose line and started firefighting. The fire was brought under control in no time. In this fire, the items kept in Ranveer Singh’s flat were burnt, while some items melted and got spoiled due to the heat of the fire. The fire was prevented from reaching the other flats in time. The CFO said that there was no loss of life in this fire. The family living in the flat had already come out safely.
Two fire brigade vehicles arrived and controlled the fire.
