When Surabhi Gautam, who studied 10th and 12th after studying with kerosene oil lamps, went to study engineering, she could not answer the questions asked in the first class in English. Surbhi Gautam, a resident of Andara village of Satna district in Madhya Pradesh, did her schooling from the Hindi medium school in the village itself and registered her name in the state’s merit list in class 10th and 12th. 3. Used to go 150 km away for treatment, still did the top
When Surbhi came in class 12th, she fell victim to rheumatic fever and for its treatment, she used to visit the doctor every 15 days in Jabalpur, 150 km from the village. Despite all this, Surbhi never diverted her focus from her studies. He topped the exam.

When she went to Bhopal to study engineering in electronics and communication, she could not answer the questions asked in the first class in English. In such a situation, Surbhi became a victim of inferiority complex. To learn English, Surbhi started talking to herself in English and started learning 10 new words every day. Pasted difficult words on the walls and read, memorized them again and again. Listening to English idioms, worked on them and improved their English. Surbhi’s hard work paid off and she topped in the first semester of graduation. The college chancellor himself also gave the award to Surbhi.

5, Success in examinations from ISRO to Delhi Police
After studying engineering, Surbhi got a placement in TCS, but the desire to join the civil service forced her to leave the job. During civil services preparation, Surbhi gave many exams like ISRO, BARC, GTE, MPPSC, SAIL, FCI, SSC and Delhi Police and got success in all.

In the year 2013, Surabhi gave the Indian Engineering Service exam and got the first rank at the All India level. After this, in the year 2016, by cracking the civil services exam, she became an IAS officer.
