In this way, NDA created history by winning 73 out of 80 seats. After this, in the 2017 assembly elections also, the BJP alliance formed the government by winning 325 seats. Since then, the BJP government is being formed in the elections, but the number of seats is continuously decreasing. In the 2017 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP won 62 seats, thus reducing by 9 seats, while in the 2022 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP returned with 255 seats. This time around 70 seats were lost. PM Modi’s concern was about this trend of decreasing seats.
