Rajiv Kapoor, the younger son of Raj Kapoor and younger brother of Rishi Kapoor, was cremated at the crematorium in Chembur on Tuesday evening. Ranbir Kapoor, son of the late Rishi Kapoor, completed his uncle’s last actions. Randhir Kapoor, severely broken by the death of his younger brother, was supported by his nephew Adar Jain. At around 1 pm on Tuesday afternoon, 58-year-old Rajiv died of a heart attack. He has worked in films like ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’, ‘Lover Boy’, ‘Akash’, ‘Hum To Chale Pardes’.
After Rajeev Kapoor’s death, his elder brother Randhir Kapoor and niece Kareena Kapoor were taken out of the hospital.
On receiving the news of Rajiv Kapoor’s death, nephew Ranbir Kapoor and sister-in-law Neetu Kapoor reached home in Chembur.
Raza Murad arrived at his house in Chembur to bid farewell to Rajiv.
Several celebs attended, including Shah Rukh Khan, Raza Murad, Sanjay Dutt, Chunky Pandey, Khushboo Sundar and Ashutosh Gowariker, along with Rajiv’s last darshan and final farewell to Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and other members of the Kapoor family.
