Bihar Public Service Commission has given another opportunity to apply for more than 46 thousand posts of Head Teacher and Head Master. Now candidates can apply till 10 April 2024. Earlier the last date of application was yesterday i.e. 2nd April, which has now been changed to 10th April.

vacancy details ,

  • In the recruitment to the post of Principal of Bihar Public Service Commission, 1595 posts are reserved for extremely backward classes.
  • There are 1340 posts for general category, 1283 posts for SC.
  • There will be recruitment for 1139 posts for backward classes and 576 posts for economically weaker sections.

Ability :

  • PG degree with 50% marks.
  • The teacher should be a citizen of India and resident of Bihar state.
  • 5% relaxation will be given in the minimum marks for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Extremely Backward Class, Backward Class, Disabled Women and Economically Weaker Section.
  • Must have passed B.Ed, B.Ed or B.Sc.Ed from a recognized institute.
  • Must have passed the teacher eligibility test to be held for teachers appointed in the year 2012 or later.
  • Must have minimum 8 years of continuous service on the post of secondary teacher in a state government school under Panchayati Raj institution and municipal body institution.
  • Minimum 12 years of continuous service in the post of Secondary Education in a school having temporary affiliation from CBSE, ICSE, BSEB.
  • Must have minimum 4 years of experience on the post of Higher Secondary Teacher under Panchayati Raj Institution and Municipal Body Institution in a State Government School.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the post of higher secondary education in a school having temporary affiliation from CBSE, ICSE, BSEB.

Age Range :

  • Primary School Head Master: 58 years
  • High School Head Master: 31 – 47 years
  • Relaxation in age limit will be given as per rules.

Salary:

  • Headmaster: Rs 35000 per month.
  • Head Teacher: Rs 30500 per month.

Selection Process:

  • written exam
  • Document Verification
  • final cut off

Fees :

  • General, OBC: Rs 750
  • SC, ST: Rs 200
  • Female: Rs 200
