Punjab Public Service Commission has invited applications for the post of Veterinary Officer. According to the commission, there are total 353 vacancies of Veterinary Officer. For this candidates have to apply online. Applications can be made by visiting the website of Punjab Public Service Commission, ppsc.gov.in. The last date for application is 10 December 2021. According to the notice, the recruitment of Veterinary Officer will be done in the Department of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Department.
Candidates should have Graduate in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from any recognized University or Institute. As per the Veterinary Council of India Act, 1984, it is necessary to be registered as Veterinary Professional with Haryana Veterinary Council or any Veterinary Council in India or Veterinary Council of India.
For the post of Veterinary Officer, the candidate should be minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years. However, reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit as per reservation rules.
In this vacancy (HPSC Recruitment 2021), male candidates of general category will have to deposit Rs 1000 as application fee. Female candidates of general category will have to pay Rs 250 as fee. The same SC, ST, OBC and economically weaker ie EWS category candidates also have to deposit Rs 250.
Eligible selection for the recruitment of Veterinary Officer posts will be done after a three-step process. Candidates have to first pass the written exam. After this there will be an interview and then documents will be scrutinized.
