Gujarat Titans launched their team logo on Sunday. The logo of the franchise has been drawn in the shape of a triangle. The franchise released its logo through a special video shared on social media. Team captain Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill and coach Ashish Nehra also appeared in this special video.

Gujarat Giants has recently signed a mega deal with Ather Energy, India’s leading electric scooter maker. Ather Energy will sponsor Gujarat Titans for IPL 2022.

Two new teams will also enter the 15th season of IPL this year. Apart from Gujarat Titans, Lucknow Giants will be seen playing in the IPL this year. This year 10 teams will play instead of 8.

Gujarat Titans has Hardik Pandya as their captain. Hardik Pandya and Afghanistan’s legendary spinners Rashid Khan and Shubman Gali were roped in by the team ahead of the IPL auction. Pandya and Rashid Khan were added for Rs 15 crore each and Shubman Gill for Rs 8 crore.

Hardik Pandya has been playing for Mumbai Indians in IPL till now, but this time Mumbai franchise has not retained him. Experts believe that Pandya is from Gujarat and to capitalize on his popularity among the local fans, the franchise has made him the captain. The franchise hopes that even if Pandya does not bowl, it will prove to be a profitable deal for the team in terms of branding.
