Pink actor Angad Bedi told the painful story of the 1984 riots in an interview to Bollywood Hungama. The actor said, “We didn’t have a house to live in, we lived in a guest house and in our friends’ house.” I have faced many difficulties in sports as well, because I was the son of former Indian cricket captain. I was seen with the same eyes, but I know what my father has suffered. Even big bureaucrats had asked us to leave Delhi and the country if needed. Everything was happening in front. There was a time when we slept in the office of Steel Authority of India.

The actor further said, I still remember that we used to live in a small flat in Delhi, it was the 1984 riots or after. The Sikhs were then targeted, and we were in trouble, but my father said, we are born to be Hindustani, we are living here. If they want to come and kill us, they can come and kill us, but we will not leave our country, my father was a very honest and straight person.

Angad used to prepare a cricket pitch for a few money

Angad has been playing cricket since childhood. The actor told during an interview, I got my first check of Rs 300, then I used to play for the Under 16 team. I was given separate money to prepare the cricket pitch and operate the roller. The actor said that during training in the UK, he used to help cover the pitch, for which he got 5-10 pounds separately. Angad used to wear his father’s shoes at that time.

I do not want to be a poor person in life: Angad

Actors have always avoided questions of their struggle. In an interview, the actor said, “I am not the kind of person who likes to talk about the struggle between myself and family.” I think work is the most important thing. There should be such a personality that people can connect with your work. I do not want to be a poor person in life.

The actor appeared in films like Finger, Pink and Tiger Zinda Hai. In the year 2016, Pink turned out to be a turning point for Angad’s career. His negative character in the film was well received by the audience and critics. Apart from films, Angad has played the lead role in Amazon Prime’s series Inside Edge. Angad’s last film was Gunjan Saxena.

Talking about personal life, Angad married actress Neha Dhupia in the year 2018. The actor was in a relationship with Nora Fatehi at the beginning of his career, but suddenly Neha entered between the two, and the two broke up. Neha and Angad surprised everyone by suddenly marrying in private ceremonies on 10 May 2018, after which news of Neha’s pregnancy came to light only a few months later. It is said that Neha’s pregnancy had been three months when both were married. A daughter was born to both of them on November 18, which is named Meher.
