Tadiyawan police told that a joint police team was deployed during the campaign being run for prevention of crime and arrest of wanted accused. In the same sequence, information was received from an informer that some thieves are coming from Sitapur towards Hariharpur. An attempt was made to stop them at Barra barrier checking. But instead of stopping at the barrier checking, these people started running rapidly with the pickup. On this information, SWAT surveillance and Tadiyawan police station tried to stop the accused by laying siege near village Sekhaura police station Tadiyawan. But both the accused got down from the pickup truck and started running away.

According to the police, the accused Saeed Banjara resident of Mohalla Kakraha police station Nigohi Shahjahanpur and Babban son Sarpu resident of Sahjaniya police station Pasgawan Lakhimpur Kheri were arrested by the police. The police recovered 21,500 rupees cash, 3 mobile phones and a pickup from them. Both the accused got injured after falling down while trying to escape after seeing the police team. Among these, accused Saeed Banjara has 59 cases registered against him in various police stations of many districts.
