In the 15th match of the T20 World Cup, Bangladesh chased the target of 125 with difficulty. The team won the match by 2 wickets. In the match, Mahish Teekshana did excellent fielding and caught Shakib Al Hasan. At the same time, Wanindu Hasaranga has become Sri Lanka’s top wicket taker by completing 108 wickets in his T20 International career. 2. Teeksha takes a diving catch
Sri Lankan player Mahish Theekshana took a brilliant diving catch at third man to send Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan back to the pavilion. Bangladesh was trying to chase their target when Tauhid Hridoy took the lead by hitting three consecutive sixes off Wanindu Hasaranga. Hridoy’s wicket gave the team a breather. However, Bangladesh still had the upper hand as they had the experience of Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah at the crease. After 16 overs, the Bangla Tigers were 108-5 and Pathirana was brought in to bowl his final over. The right-arm pacer bowled the second ball short, which Shakib played over third man with a cut shot on the top of the bounce. Theekshana, stationed at deep, came in quickly and took the catch while running and diving.

3. Hridoy hit three consecutive sixes to Hasaranga
Bangladesh lost three wickets in the powerplay while chasing the target against Sri Lanka. During this, Tauheed Hridoy performed brilliantly and scored 40 runs in 20 balls. Meanwhile, in the 11th over of Bangladesh’s innings, Hridoy showed his aggressive batting by hitting a hat-trick of sixes against Sri Lankan captain Wanindu Hasaranga. He hit his first six of the over by slog-swept a full-length ball outside the off-stump over mid-wicket. After this, he continued his attack by hitting a six once again, he then hit a six over mid-wicket. Continuing the attack, he hit another fuller-length delivery for a six over extra cover and hit a hat-trick of sixes.
