In the 15th match of the T20 World Cup, Bangladesh chased the target of 125 with difficulty. The team won the match by 2 wickets. After a poor show with the bat, Sri Lanka got off to a great start in bowling and dismissed Bangladesh openers cheaply. The right-arm pacer bowled the second ball short, which Shakib played over third man with a cut shot on the top of the bounce. Theekshana, stationed at deep, came in quickly and took the catch while running and diving.

3. Hridoy hit three consecutive sixes to Hasaranga
Bangladesh lost three wickets in the powerplay while chasing the target against Sri Lanka. During this, Tauheed Hridoy performed brilliantly and scored 40 runs in 20 balls. Meanwhile, in the 11th over of Bangladesh’s innings, Hridoy showed his aggressive batting by hitting a hat-trick of sixes against Sri Lankan captain Wanindu Hasaranga.
