The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court is scheduled to have a major hearing today in the alleged rape and death of a 19-year-old Dalit girl in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. This case is listed under the funeral title with dignity. The victim’s family left for Lucknow in the morning under tight security. On October 1, the court itself took the matter into notice.
The court has summoned the state’s Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Awasthi, DGP HC Awasthi, ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar, DM and SP of Hathras. The victim’s family also has to appear in court for testimony. Vinod Shahi will advocate for the government in the High Court, while the court has appointed senior advocate JN Mathur as amicus curiae (justice friend).
The victim’s family is being escorted to Lucknow by six trains.
Five family members will testify in court
The victim’s family left Hathras at 5 am. The victim’s parents, two brothers and a sister-in-law are going to Lucknow. SDM Anjali Gangwar and CO Shailendra Bajpai have commanded the security system. Two of the vehicles are the victim’s family, while six are for their escort. Brother said that whatever will happen, will tell the court about it. The person who was present at the time of the incident will put his point in the court. Earlier, he refused to go to Lucknow on Sunday night. The victim’s brother said that anything could happen to us at night. We do not trust the administration.

CBI will investigate the scene today
On the other hand, after registering the case, the Anti Corruption Branch of CBI has reached Hathras and started investigation. The investigation is being carried out by women deputy SP Seema Pahuja. The CBI has taken the FIR and documents from the police on Sunday itself. If sources are to be believed, today the CBI team will reach the spot to investigate. The forensic team will also be present along with the team and will gather evidence after inspecting the scene. The investigation will also talk to the authorities. The CBI postmortem report will collect the investigation sample and all the relevant evidence taken earlier by the forensic team.
What is the whole matter?
On September 14 in Hathras, 4 people had allegedly gang-raped a 19-year-old girl. It is also alleged that he broke his backbone and also cut his tongue. The victim died on 29 September while undergoing treatment in Delhi. All the four accused have been arrested. However, the police claim that the rape did not take place.
