In Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced to open a full-fledged school within 20-25 km from the place of opening of the school. He said that the children of the village will come to school by bus in it. Here they will get full modern education. He said this on Tuesday at 10.30 am on the occasion of the virtual launch of 145 newly constructed educational buildings at Minto Hall in Bhopal at a cost of Rs 497 crore 70 lakh from the Department of Tribal Welfare and School Education Department.
CM said that now is just idea
Shivraj said that it is not possible to give quality education everywhere. In such a situation it would be better if a full-fledged school is built. It will have all facilities including teachers’ accommodation, every playground, pucca building, modern lab. Buses will be used to bring children to school. If everyone agrees, let us know. How is this idea Yes, I want to say one more thing, we are not closing schools right now.
13 exclusive residential schools ready
The newly constructed educational buildings of the state were inaugurated. These include 13 Specialized Residential Schools (Girls Education Complexes) costing Rs 357 crore 9 lakhs of Tribal Welfare Department, 3 hostel buildings of Rs 4 crore 63 lakhs and 129 high schools costing Rs 135 crore 98 lakhs of School Education Department. And Higher Secondary School buildings were also released. All the educational infrastructure to be released are from unaffected districts. The construction work of the districts which have assembly by-elections are not included in this program.
Chief Minister interacted with the beneficiaries
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also interacted with the beneficiaries and public representatives of Bhopal, Shajapur and Umaria districts regarding educational facilities during the inauguration program. In the 13 girls education complexes to be launched by the Tribal Welfare Department, 6 thousand 370 girls of the ethnic groups and 150 students in 3 hostel buildings will be able to provide better residential facilities. The newly constructed 129 High and Higher Secondary Schools of the School Education Department are constructed at different places in 26 districts. About 21 thousand students will be benefited by the construction of these school buildings. School education department is also arranging furniture for these schools soon.
