During the swearing-in ceremony on March 25 at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee International Cricket Stadium in Ekana, Lucknow, the traffic system of the main roads of the city has been changed. There will be a ban on the movement of vehicles on Shaheed Path (from Kamta Tiraha to Shaheed Path Tiraha Kanpur Road) on this day. At the same time, heavy vehicles will not enter the border of Lucknow. Diversion system has been implemented for normal vehicles and vehicles coming for the function. DCP Traffic Subhash Chandra Shakya said that due to the swearing-in ceremony, goods vehicle (truck / commercial vehicle / goods carrier vehicle) will not be allowed to enter the Lucknow border under any circumstances. Instructions have been given by the border districts to stop them in their own district. This arrangement will be applicable from 6 am to 10 pm on Friday (till the end of the program).

  • Buses coming from Ayodhya / Barabanki side from Indira Canal Bridge to Sultanpur Road via right HCL police post till Gol Chakkar Chauraha. Incoming stadiums will enter from gate number 01/02.

route number two

  • Buses coming from Prayagraj/Rae Bareli side take right turn from Mohanlalganj to HCL Tirahe till Gol Chakkar Chauraha. Incoming stadiums will enter from gate number 02/01.

  • Buses coming from Kanpur Nagar will take Junabganj (Kanpur Road) from right Jyotinagar Tiraha to Mohanlaganj via Gosainganj Tiraha to left Khurdahi Bazar to HCL CG City (Police Post) Tiraha to right roundabout intersection. Stadium Gate No. 02/01 will enter.

  • Buses coming to the program from Agra Expressway get down from the expressway, left Jaitapur turn to Manthara, Junabganj (Kanpur Road) right from Jyotinagar Tiraha to Gosaiganj Tiraha to Gol Chakkar Chauraha. Stadium Gate No. 02/01 will enter.

Route for pass holders attending the swearing-in ceremony

Pass holders/vehicles attending the swearing-in ceremony from within the city of Lucknow will be parked at the designated place at Ekana Cricket Stadium from Lalbatti Square, Arjunganj Bazar, Ahimamau Underpass Square. Along with this, the holders of gate number-3 and 4 will be able to cross the Vijayipur underpass till 2 pm and go from the right service road to the designated place from Shaheed Path.

  • Vehicles coming from Sultanpur / Gosaiganj Road turn right from Gosaiganj turn to Kabirpur Cut (Khurdahi Bazar) and turn right / left from Indira Canal / Kisan Path Ayodhya Road, BBD, Chinhat Square, Kamta Tiraha, Rolex Cutting, Polytechnic Crossing or directly.

  • The movement of public vehicles on Shaheed Path will be prohibited from the Shaheed Path ramp from Ahimamau, Utrethia, Ramabai etc.
  • Vehicles going towards Gomtinagar Extension, Gomtinagar, Telibagh, Utrethia, Ahimamau please use the service road and underpass built next to Shaheed Path.
