Rajasthan High Court has put a stay on the appointment process of Motor Vehicle Sub Inspector Recruitment Exam 2021. The petitioner Manish Kumar had filed a petition in the High Court against the amendment in the rules during the recruitment process. Giving a verdict on this, a single bench of Justice Inderjit Singh has issued this order. However, the High Court has given permission to the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board to release the result.
The petitioner’s lawyer MF Baig told the High Court that the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board had recruited 197 posts. In which the eligibility of Diploma in Mechanical and Electronic Engineering was kept. The Staff Selection Board issued a circular on December 15 and considered the candidates having more qualification than mechanical and electronic engineering as eligible for recruitment. Whereas according to the rules, only diploma holders were eligible for these posts. Baig told the High Court that the rules cannot be changed after starting the recruitment process. Therefore, the circular dated December 15 should be quashed. Hearing on which Justice Inderjit Singh Single Bench has stayed the appointment.
Let us tell you that in November last year, Rajasthan Staff Selection Board had taken out Motor Vehicle Sub Inspector recruitment for 197 posts. For this the process of application started from 2nd December. Which lasted till 31st December. The recruitment examination was conducted across the state on 12 and 13 February for the candidates who applied for it. In which candidates in the age group of 18 to 40 years participated. But even before the result is out, the High Court has put a stay on the school recruitment process. In such a situation, after REET, Patwari, RAS and JEN, now the wait for the candidates appearing in the Motor Vehicle Sub Inspector recruitment examination has also increased.
