  • CJM report seeks response from Morena Collector in two weeks
  • Documents sought to be shot by sand mafia in Datia

In the High Court’s Couple Bench, the CJM of Morena had submitted a report of unsound sand quarrying by surprise inspection of the four ghats of the Chambal river. On this report, the couple bench has asked Collector Morena on Friday for a reply in two weeks. Now, within two weeks, Collector Morena has to answer what steps he has taken to stop illegal mining. Along with this, they have also asked to submit documents in the case of firing on the jawan in Datia.

A PIL was filed on 6 October 2018 in the High Court by advocate Awadhesh Singh Bhadoria. It was told that in Gwalior-Chambal division, the administration and administration in front of the mining mafias are low, so every year officers of some department are killed by mafias. It was told in the petition that so far a total of 13 Forest Department and Police Department officials have been killed at the hands of employee mafias, but due to lack of curbs on the mining mafias, this series is not taking the name of stopping. CBI should be investigated for the death of the officers killed so far. On 29 February 2020, 17 suggestions were given to the Madhya Pradesh government in the petition by the High Court. The order said that the mining mafia should be curbed by implementing 17 points. Not a single High Court suggestion was implemented by the government. Therefore the petition has been taken back to trial. During the hearing of the case, the petitioner advocate Awadhesh Bhadoria has argued in the court that the administration is completely unsuccessful in front of the mining mafia and as a result of this, on February 4, the mining mafia in Datia shot a soldier. It was also argued by advocate Bhadoria that the court also summoned a report from CJM Morena in this case. The CJM Morena has said in its report that the administration is completely unsuccessful in curbing the mining mafia in Gwalior Chambal division and the day-long mining mafia is engaged in mining operations. Despite this, no action is being taken by Collector Morena.

Collector has to answer

Taking the above case seriously by the court, Collector Morena has been ordered to do what you did to stop the activities of the mining mafia after the CJM report came and after the court ordered it. In connection with this, Collector Morena should present his affidavit in the court in 2 weeks, as well as the petitioner was asked to present documents in connection with the firing of the soldier by the mining mafia in Datia.
