Team India’s experienced spinner R Ashwin created history by dismissing Keegan Pietersen LBW on the third day of the Johannesburg Test between India and South Africa. He gave India the second success. Pietersen returned to the pavilion after scoring 28 runs. With this Ashwin has joined a special club.

Ashwin has become the second Indian spinner after Anil Kumble to take a wicket at the Johannesburg ground. Kumble has taken 17 wickets at this ground. Apart from him, no Indian spinner has been able to take wickets on this ground, but now Ashwin has done it.
