Hollywood actor Andre Braugher, who played the role of Captain Raymond in the famous TV series Brooklyn 99, has passed away. The actor, who was seen in films and series like Brooklyn 99, Fantastic Four and Passengers, was ill for the last several days, during which he died during treatment.

BBC quoted actor Andre Braugher's publicist as saying that the cause of his death was a long illness. Let us tell you that Andre is very famous in Hollywood for his comic roles. He gained recognition for his role as a police inspector in the drama series Homicide: Life on the Street, telecast from 1993 to 1999. After this, he played the funny role of Captain Raymond Holt in the famous comedy show Brooklyn 99, telecast from 2013 to 2021.

Born in Chicago in 1962, Andre studied at Stanford University. He started his acting career with the 1989 film Glory. However, he got his real recognition from the police drama series Homicide: Life on the Street. His role of Detective Frank Pemblen in the series was much liked.
