Two people, including a journalist, were killed in a house fire in Balrampur in Uttar Pradesh on Friday night under suspicious circumstances. The fire was so severe that it fell to a wall of the house. Everything in the house burned down. It is being told that before dying, the journalist has made the video viral and accused him of burning. At the same time, police are questioning two suspects in custody.

According to the information, journalist Rakesh and one of his companions living in village Kalwari of Kotwali countryside area were present in Pintu house. Whereas Rakesh’s wife and children had gone away from home to a relative due to a domestic dispute. There was a sharp explosion in Rakesh’s house on Friday night. Due to which the wall on the right side of the house fell, then the people came to know about the incident. A room inside the house caught fire due to unknown reasons, due to which all the bedding and belongings were burnt. In the same fire, Rakesh and his partner also got badly burnt.

90 percent scorched Rakesh was referred to Lucknow

Police and ambulance personnel who reached the spot took both of them to the joint hospital where doctors declared Pintu dead while 90% scorched Rakesh was referred to Lucknow. Where Rakesh also succumbed at the Civil Hospital in Lucknow. Journalist Rakesh, who arrived at the hospital after scorching, told in his last statement that 10 to 15 people had entered the house. He is the one who executed the incident.

Strict action will be taken after investigation of the entire matter

Superintendent of Police Dev Ranjan Verma said that there is a case of Kalwari village in the countryside of the district. There was a journalist Rakesh Singh who worked in the national format newspaper and also did independent journalism on YouTube. His house was set on fire by unidentified Karano due to which his friend Pintu Sahu died while doctors referred Rakesh to Lucknow where he too died. We are investigating with the help of forensics and will take further legal action.
