ICSI shortened their syllabus as per the new education policy of 2020.

The CS Executive December 2023 exams will be held in offline mode from December 21 to December 29.

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) conducts three levels of examination, which are CS Foundation, CS Executive and CS Professional. The examinations are conducted twice a year in June and December. The examinations have no limit to their attempts. In India, thousands of aspirants spend years of preparation to pursue the position of company secretary (CS).

It is one of the most competitive examinations in the country. Recently, there has been news regarding the exam pattern and timing of the upcoming examination in December. According to reports, there will be extra time given to the candidates for reading the exam paper.

According to reports, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India has changed the exam pattern, syllabus and time for the exam that will be held in December. Reportedly, for the examination that will be held in December 2023, 15 extra minutes will be given to the candidates. The extra time has been given to the students to read and go through their papers.

Manish Gupta, who is the ICSI president, gave this information through his webinar. The CS Executive December 2023 exams will be held in offline mode from December 21 to December 29. The extra 15-minute rule will apply to this examination as well.

The institute has also revised the entire curriculum for CS Executive and Professional courses. The new syllabus started on February 1, 2023.

The examination based on the new syllabus will be held in December 2023. It has also been stated that candidates who are taking CS Executive courses from the old syllabus will have two chances to take the examination in the same old course. They can appear for the exam with the old syllabus for December 2023 and June 2024. They also have the option to switch to the new syllabus.

ICSI has shortened their syllabus as per the new education policy of 2020. Earlier, there were 17 papers in the exam, and now it has been reduced to 14 papers. Now, more importance will be given to practical learning. There is also a change in the marks, with the objective questions now carrying 20 marks.
