District Election Officer Kaushal Raj Sharma held a meeting with officials at the camp office on Friday evening regarding the panchayat elections. In order to conduct the panchayat elections systematically, the entire constituency has been divided into 35 zones and 115 sectors and 35 zonal and 115 sector magistrates have been posted. Any type of wall writing related to election campaign has been banned by DM Kaushal Raj Sharma. If found anywhere, action will be taken by fixing responsibility on the village secretary.
There should not be wall paintings in gram sabhas, schools, public places
DM Kaushal Raj Sharma said that public places, schools, government buildings of Gram Sabhas should not have wall paintings related to publicity. Any type of posters, pumplets, etc. should not be pasted on these buildings. Wherever wall writing and publicity materials have been installed on these buildings, it should be removed immediately. Government buildings, religious places etc. should not be used in election campaign. If any disturbances are found in the inspection, strict action will be taken by deciding the responsibility of the village secretary.
All polling stations should be ideal centers
DM Kaushal Raj Sharma specifically emphasized that all polling stations in the district should be ideal centers. There should be tiles in the ground, toilets should be arranged and its color is lacquered. He also directed that the election-related information should not be written on the walls of polling stations, but signage should be put on paper to display the information. Due to which the attractive colors made in schools and government buildings should not be damaged.
694 village heads to be elected
