The student summed up his experience at IIT Bombay in seven key points, highlighting the dynamic environment of the Computer Science department and praising the “fantastic” lab crew. One of his most surprising revelations was the lack of hostel restrictions — he noted that even the girls’ hostels aren’t locked up.
Another standout aspect of his experience is the light academic schedule, with classes held only two days a week, giving him plenty of time to explore other opportunities and enjoy campus life.

He further described the hostel rooms as “cosy” but added that he often ends up staying at the CSE department rather than returning to his room at night, which is open around the clock.

Unlike many students who struggle with hostel food, Vijendra mentioned that 24/7 ordering options are available within the hostel. So, midnight munchies are not an issue for the students there.
