The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi will be hosting an Open House on June 18 for female candidates and persons with disabilities (PwD) who qualified for JEE Advanced 2024. In an effort to encourage potential students to enrol at IIT Delhi, the Initiative for Gender Equity and Sensitization (IGES) and the Office of Accessible Education (OAE) are hosting this event with the goal of advancing gender equity and diversity. The hybrid Open House session is scheduled to run from 9 am to 4 pm. The entire event will be streamed live on the IIT Delhi’s official YouTube channel, at youtube.com/c/IITDelhiOfficial.

The registration for the IIT Delhi Open House is now underway. The event will include interactive sessions where JEE Advanced 2024 qualifying female and PwD candidates can participate in direct discussions with deans and faculty members from various academic departments. In addition to exploring academic and employment opportunities across fields, participants may get their questions concerning programmes and courses answered.

Additionally, the Open House will provide information on the resources accessible to IIT Delhi students, such as scholarships and fellowships. Students currently enrolled will also be present to speak about their firsthand experiences with campus life, extracurricular activities, and the institute’s supportive community. This open house is also a chance for all JEE Advanced 2024 qualifying applicants to explore prospects at both the Delhi campus in India and the Abu Dhabi campus in the United Arab Emirates.

Out of the 42,947 female candidates who enrolled for JEE Advanced 2024, 41,020 took both papers, with 7,964 qualifying. This Open House provides an excellent chance for the students to discover more about what IIT Delhi has to offer and picture their future at one of India’s leading educational institutions.
