Armament Factory (Symbolic Factory)
Kanpur Outer Police has caught the illegal arms factory being prepared for consumption in the assembly elections. Illegal weapons were to be consumed from Kanpur to adjoining districts and on-demand preparations were being made. The police is now raiding in search of arms demanders and arms smugglers.
On-demand weapons were being prepared
SP Outer Ajit Kumar Sinha, while disclosing the illegal arms factory on Sunday, said that the illegal arms factory was being operated in Maholi village of Maharajpur. Shivam Kumar Mishra, a resident of Rae Bareli, was running a firearm factory with a rented house. 13 ready-made weapons and several semi-finished weapons have been recovered from the factory. Along with this, the tools used in making firearms have also been found. Vicious told during interrogation that along with Kanpur, he was supplying illegal weapons on demand in the surrounding districts. These weapons were to be used in the Legislative Assembly elections. The revealing SWAT team is now conducting raids to track down the men who demanded the arms and smuggled it.
The demand for weapons increased before the assembly elections
SP Outer said that the arrested Shivam Kumar Mishra, who ran the gun factory, told that suddenly the demand for weapons has increased before the assembly elections. Due to this, other weapons including firearms were being prepared in his factory 24 hours a day.
