A video has gone viral on social media in which Madhya Pradesh minister Imarti Devi can be seen claiming that chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Rajya Sabha member Jyotiraditya Scindia want her to be the deputy chief minister of the state if she wins by a big margin in the upcoming by-elections. The minister made the claim while addressing villagers in Dabra, ‘In the entire country Imarti devi was the only who fetched the prize for women and child development department from Smriti Irani (Union minister) among ministers from all over the states. I did a great job in one and a-half-year. But, I want to ask you that even Jyotiraditya Scindia, Shivraj Singh also wants that if Imarti wins the bypoll by a big margin then we will make her deputy chief minister. After I become (deputy) minister you will say she is a minister from our community. Anywhere in Madhya Pradesh, you can stand and say that we are from Dabra and we are Jatav. No one would dare to stop you. With your support, I had won (previous election) by 62,000 votes but now I feel that I will cross one lakh (victory margin).’
