Parents’ organization protesting.

During the Corona period in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, a team of parents ‘Papa’ came out on the streets to protest against the arbitrariness of private schools. Parents’ organization ‘Papa’ demonstrated fiercely outside St. George’s School in Bagh Muzaffar Khan regarding the six-point demands and gave a memorandum addressed to the District Magistrate.

Due to the arbitrariness of private schools, all the parents associated with Team Papa came out on the streets. Papa Sanstha blocked the road in front of St. George’s School and sat on a dharna on the road itself. They raised slogans against the school administration.

Deepak Sareen of Papa Sanstha alleges that guidelines have been issued for schools from time to time by the government, but the schools have been continuously defying the orders of the government. Within the last one and a half months, the institution has given several memorandums to the Chief Minister and the District Officer and has lodged a written complaint with the Education Department several times, but till now no action has been taken against any school. We have been forced to take to the streets. We will continue the agitation till the officials come to us and give an assurance in writing. We have only 6 valid demands.

this is the demand

  • Children have been removed from the online education group of schools, they should be added immediately.
  • Online study time in school should be reduced from 6 hours to 3 hours.
  • There are many rules that have no concern, they should be removed.
  • During online classes, students will have to stop wearing clothes.
  • The school administration is constantly changing the syllabus of the books, which is putting financial burden on the parents, it should be stopped.
  • There are orders of the government that the physical examination fee should not be charged, but the schools which have taken it should return it immediately.
