Heart-wrenching incident of robbery Tulsi, who is a resident of Mohanapur, was returning with brother-in-law Sameer with Rs 1 lakh received from her mother. On the way, near Gulriha market, two miscreants riding a bike chased him, attacked him and snatched the bag from his hand and ran away.
The woman and her brother-in-law tried to chase the miscreants, but the woman fell from the bike near Gulriha Canal, due to which both her knees were injured. During this time, the miscreants took the opportunity and ran away with one lakh rupees and a mobile phone.
Police activity and search for robbers As soon as information about the incident was received, Gulriha police and crime branch team reached the spot and are trying to identify the miscreants through CCTV footage. On the complaint of the woman’s brother-in-law, the police have registered a case of robbery against unknown miscreants and have started searching for them.
How did the incident happen? Tulsi’s mother had withdrawn Rs 50 thousand from the bank a few days ago and kept it with her, and on Thursday she handed over Rs 1 lakh to Tulsi, which Tulsi kept in his bag. Meanwhile, the miscreants chased the woman in a planned manner and as soon as they got the chance, snatched the bag and ran away.
Police say that the accused will be arrested soon, at present there is an atmosphere of panic in the area after this incident.
