In Lalitpur, from Thursday morning, married women performed Vat Savitri Puja with great joy and devotion. On this occasion, married women performed Puja near the banyan tree to wish for a long life of their husband. Married women did sixteen makeups and worshipped the banyan tree.

The married women circled around Akshay Vat and tied a protective thread around the tree and prayed for their husbands’ long life. During Vat Savitri Vrat, women adorned themselves completely and wrapped a thread around the Vat tree and circled it seven times and prayed for their husbands’ long life.
