Development work was affected in the Nagar Panchayat of Sant Kabir Nagar due to the absence of board meeting for the last one year. After the warning given by the councilors, the date for the board meeting was fixed on Wednesday. The meeting started on Wednesday. In the meeting, the councilors asked the chairman about the expenditure and income.

The councilors also accused the chairman and his representative of walking out of the meeting. The EO said that the meeting was concluded peacefully. The councilors also discussed various development works. The city will be developed with three crores.
Proposal for development worth Rs 3 crore
The board meeting was held in Mehdawal Nagar Panchayat on Wednesday. During this, the councilors discussed all the development works. Which was included in the action plan by Executive Officer Pankaj Kumar. The development proposal of about 3 crores has been approved. The councilors asked the Chairman Lakshmi Nishad for the details of the income and expenditure of the Nagar Panchayat. On which the councilors allege that Lakshmi Nishad left the meeting with her husband Ramesh Nishad.
Discussion on development work in the meeting
The councilors say that the quorum of the meeting was not complete. Whereas the Executive Officer says that the quorum of the meeting was complete. Development proposals worth Rs. 3 crores have been taken. Nagar Panchayat President Lakshmi Nishad, her husband Ramesh Nishad, Executive Officer Pankaj Kumar and all the councilors were present in the meeting. The meeting started in a peaceful atmosphere. Discussion started on the development works of all 20 wards. Discussion took place in the context of drain construction, drainage, interlocking, street lighting, cleanliness etc. The proposals that were presented were included in the action plan by Executive Officer Pankaj Kumar. Meanwhile, Councilor Association President Abdul Mannan and other councilors started discussing the development works done in the Nagar Panchayat. The councilors allege that on asking for the details of income and expenditure, Nagar Panchayat President Lakshmi Nishad and her husband Ramesh Nishad left the meeting.
Councillor Association President Abdul Mannan said that the Nagar Panchayat administration is indifferent towards development work. When asked for the details of income and expenditure, the chairperson and her husband left the meeting. There is no point in organising such meetings.
EO Pankaj Kumar said that a development proposal of Rs 3 crore has been approved in the board meeting. The rapid development of the city was also discussed in the meeting. Development work is being carried out at a fast pace in the Nagar Panchayat. The allegation of the chairman leaving the meeting is completely wrong.
