The Internet is full of videos showing foreign objects, including animal remains, in packaged food and beverages, raising questions about quality control standards. Recently, another such video has surfaced online that could send shivers down anyone’s spine at the mere thought of their food and drinks. Two men, identified as Laxmikant Reddy and Anantaya, purchased a beer bottle from a local shop for a gathering in Kareli village in Telangana’s Vikarabad. They bought the liquor worth Rs 4,000 from a local wine shop in Dharur. But their drink came with an unexpected and unwelcoming addition—a lifeless lizard.

The shocking video, captured on camera, has surfaced on X. In the 30-second-long video, a man can be seen showing the beer bottle that has the dead lizard floating inside. In the clip, the man also shakes the bottle multiple times to highlight the presence of the reptile.

Soon enough, the duo rushed to the police station and filed a complaint regarding the incident. The wine shop owner, however, reportedly deflected responsibility, suggesting that the issue might have originated at the brewery level, reported Free Press Journal.

As the video continues to spread online, raising concerns about contamination in consumable products, authorities are investigating the source of contamination and addressing the growing concerns around product safety in the beverage industry.

This is not the first time customers come across such unpleasant experiences. Earlier, a Hyderabad family experienced a horrifying dining ordeal in their Zomato-ordered chicken biryani from Bawarchi Biryani located at the RTC Crossroads. The biryani came with a dead lizard. Reportedly, Vishwa Aditya from DD Colony, Amberpet, placed an order for chicken biryani on Zomato. However, upon receiving the parcel, they found a dead lizard nestled amidst the rice.

The disturbing incident, captured in video, surfaced on the internet, leaving viewers stunned. The footage showed family members holding a plate filled with rice and a black lizard lying lifeless in it. Later, the victim of this culinary mishap took his grievances to the restaurant, staging a protest at its gate alongside his family.
