No foreigners lost after scoring 500 runs
One disappointing aspect in terms of Team India’s stats is that no foreign team has lost a Test match after scoring 500+ in India. After scoring 500 runs in India, the team of Australia reached the closest to defeat. In 1986, Australia had scored 574 for seven wickets in the first innings in Chennai. On the last day of the match, Team India reached very close to victory but eventually the match was tied.
