India has also won the second match of the group stage in the Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup. The team defeated UAE by a huge margin of 123 runs. Batting first after losing the toss at Willomoor Park, Benoni, India Women’s team scored 219 runs for 3 wickets in 20 overs. In response, the UAE team could only manage 97 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs.

Shweta again studded Fifty
Shweta Sehrawat, who played a match-winning inning of 92 runs in the first match against South Africa, also scored a fifty against UAE. Shweta scored an unbeaten 74 off 49 balls. He hit 10 fours in this innings. After the dismissal of captain Shefali, Shweta shared an 89-run partnership with wicketkeeper Richa Ghosh for the second wicket.
Risha got out after scoring 49 runs in 29 balls. He hit 2 sixes and 5 fours. Apart from these, Gongdi Trisha scored 11 runs on 5 balls and Sonia Mendhia scored 2 runs. Indhuja Nandkumar, Mahika Gaur and Samaira Dharnidharka took 1-1 wickets for UAE.

UAE got a bad start
UAE got off to a bad start chasing the target of 220 runs. In the very first over, the team lost the wicket of captain Tirtha Satish. The team could not recover from this setback and could only manage 97 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs. Opener Lavanya Keni played a very slow inning of 24 runs off 54 balls. Mahik Gaur scored 26 runs on 26 balls. No other batter of the team could score more than 9 runs.
Shabnam, Titas Sadhu, Mannat Kashyap and Parshvi Chopra took 1-1 wickets for India. Got a wicket as a run out. UAE won their first match against Scotland. After today’s defeat, he is at number two in the points table. Scotland is third and South Africa is in last place.
