India has captured the Women’s Asian Hockey Championship trophy held in Rajgir, Bihar. Team India has defeated China 1-0. In the 31st minute of the first match of the third quarter, Deepika scored the first goal for Team India, which led India to victory.

Both teams could not score any goals in the total 30 minutes of play in the first and second quarters. The teams of India and China remained tied at 0-0. In the second quarter, India got 4, China got 2 penalty corners. However, no team could convert them into goals.
Bihar government has honored the Indian women’s hockey team. Announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh to each player of the team. Along with this, the team’s head coach Harendra Singh will also be given a prize of Rs 10 lakh.
The final match between the women’s hockey teams of India and China started at Rajgir Sports Complex at 5 pm. The stadium with a capacity of 3 thousand was completely filled with spectators. The tricolor was hoisted in the stadium. Slogans of Jai Shri Ram were also raised.

Japan won bronze by defeating Malaysia 4-1
Earlier today, Japan won the bronze medal by defeating Malaysia 4-1. Japan played aggressively and scored 4 goals in the first half itself. Mayuri Horikawa scored in the 3rd minute, Hiroka Murayama in the 24th minute, Ayana Tamura in the 28th minute and Miyu Hasegawa scored the fourth goal before half time.
Ajmara Azhari made his presence felt for Malaysia by scoring a goal in the 48th minute. Both the teams will now face each other in the upcoming Asian Games also.
