Commonwealth Games champions Sharath Kamal and Manika Batra will lead the six-member Indian table tennis team for the Paris Olympics. The Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) announced the team on Thursday.
G Sathiyan has not got a place in the six-member team. Sathiyan has got a place as a reserve player in the men’s team. Indian players will participate in singles and team events in Paris. Ayhika Mukherjee will be the reserve player for the women’s team.
G Sathiyan has been included as a reserve player in the men’s team.

Men’s Team: Sharath Kamal, Harmeet Desai, Manav Thakkar.
reserve : Yes Sathiyan.
Women’s Team: Manika Batra, Sreeja Akula, Archana Kamath.
reserve : Ayhika Mukherjee.
Men’s Singles: Sharath Kamal, Harmeet Desai.
Women’s Singles: Manika Batra, Sreeja Akula.
Paris Olympics will start from July 26
The Paris Olympics are to be held between 26 July and 11 August. India got the gold medal in athletics for the first time in Tokyo. Neeraj Chopra won the first medal for India in Track and Field in the Olympics in Javelin Throw.
