Jahnavi Harsh, a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya Gannipur, has been selected at the national level in the Inspire Award Standard Competition. The student of class 10 was selected for excellent scientific thinking. The student prepared the project on The Problem of Global Water Crisis and sent it to DST. Selection was done after evaluating the project towards experts.

As a reward, the Central Government has given 10 thousand rupees. This information was given by Principal Sanjeev Sinha of Kendriya Vidyalaya Gannipur. He said, the student’s father Dr. Ajay Kumar is a physics teacher. Jahnavi prepared an excellent project related to soil fertility and water conservation. It was agreed by the team of scientists at the national level.

The student explained the fertility of soil and methods of water conservation amidst the challenges of water crisis at the global level. According to this, where there is scarcity of water, such crops should be cultivated, absorbing water for a long time and maintaining moisture in the land. With this, fertility power should also be maintained.

Teacher Ajay Kumar told, such students are known as child scientists. Now, even if there is an economic shortage for the student, 80 thousand rupees will be given every year from the department. Even if you want to go into research or technical education, you will get 2.5 lakh rupees per year. Principal, Deputy Principal Chandan Chaudhary, guide teacher Prabhat Kumar and Inspire Award coordinator Dr. Ajay Kumar congratulated the student on the achievement of the student.
