1097 players have been registered for the IPL auction. It has 814 Indian and 283 foreign players. West Indies has the highest number of 56 players in overseas. This was followed by Australia (42) and D. Africa (38) is numbered. Similarly, 9 players from UAE, 8 from Nepal, 7 from Scotland, 5 from Bangladesh and one each from Ireland, USA, Zimbabwe and Netherlands were included in the list.

If all the franchises have a maximum of 25 players in their team, then 61 places will be auctioned. 21 capped Indians and 186 capped international players have also registered. 139 players have been retained by the franchise
139 players have been retained by eight IPL franchises, while 57 players have been freed by their current teams. Sunrisers Hyderabad have retained most of the players. Their number is 22 while the current team of Royal Challengers Bangalore has only 12 players.

Kings XI Punjab has the highest amount
Kings XI Punjab will enter the auction with the highest amount of Rs 53.20 crore. It will be followed by RCB (Rs 35.90 crore). While Kolkata Knight Riders and SRH have the least amount of Rs 10.75 crore left. Apart from these, Chennai Super Kings has a purse of Rs 22.90 crore, Delhi Capitals Rs 12.90 crore and Mumbai Indians Rs 15.35 crore and Rajasthan Royals have a purse of Rs 34.85 crore.

Sreesanth’s base prize 75 lakh
s. Sreesanth, Arjun Tendulkar, T20 No. 1 batsmen Malan, Pujara, Shakib Al Hasan, Labusheen will also go up for auction. The base prize of Shakib, Harbhajan, Smith, Maxwell, Moin Ali etc. is Rs 2-2 crores, Malan’s 1.5 crores, Vihari’s 1 crores, Sreesanth’s 75 lakhs, Pujara’s 50 lakhs. At the same time, Arjun is in the lowest base price of 20 lakh rupees.
