The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has not given Mustafizur Rahman a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) to play the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Bangladeshi left-handed fast bowler has received offers from two IPL teams Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and defending champion Mumbai Indians.
This year the IPL is due to be held in the UAE from 19 September to 10 November due to Corona. All teams have also started training by reaching UAE for the tournament.
Bangladesh visits Sri Lanka next month
Cricket website Cricbuzz has quoted this news from Akram Khan, chairman of BCB Cricket Operations. Accordingly, Akram said, “Yes, he (Mustafizur) has received offers from IPL, but we have not given him NOC. The big reason for this is that the Bangladesh team has to go to Sri Lanka tour next month.
Mustafizur took 24 wickets in 24 matches of IPL
