Family drama Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is ushering in a fresh season as it is all set to take another generation leap. Earlier, Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod, who played the protagonists in the show, emerged as the most loved on-screen couple. As they bid adieu to the show, the new characters will be introduced. Rajan Shahi, the show’s producer, recently, confirmed the same.

As per the latest buzz, actor and reality TV star Rishabh Jaiswal is expected to join the cast in the show post leap. In the upcoming season of the popular TV show, he is likely to play the cousin brother of the male lead played by Shehzada Dhami. However, an official announcement regarding the same is yet to be made.

Rishabh was last seen in the MTV reality show Roadies: Karm Ya Kaand. He emerged as one of the finalists in the show. The show earned him a sizable fan following among masses and he is being showered with immense love and blessings for his impeccable skills that he displayed during the show. Earlier, the speculations around his re-entry in Anupamaa set the TV industry abuzz.

Reports have emerged suggesting that the production team has roped in the actors to play the new protagonists after the leap. While Saavi Ki Savaari fame Samridhi Shuka will be essaying the character of the female lead, Choti Sarrdaarni fame Shehzada Dhami has officially been signed to play the male protagonist in the upcoming season of popular television show.

Besides Samridhi and Shehzada, other prominent names like Anita Raj, Preeti Amin, and Shruti Ulfat among others will also be seen playing prominent characters in the show post leap. For those unversed, the makers recently unveiled the new promo of the show featuring Samridhi who will be essaying the character of Akshara, and Abhinav’s daughter named Abhira. The new season of YRKKH will go on air from November 6 onwards.

Coming back to Rishabh, he quit Kundali Bhagya mid-way for Roadies. Now that the show has concluded recently, the actor, reportedly, is also going to rejoin the cast of Kundali Bhagya. During an interaction with Pinkvilla, the actor revealed, “Well, there was a lot of speculations about me bagging different shows. I didn’t hear from Anupamaa makers for a long time and thus decided to take up Kundali Bhagya. I like Kundali Bhagya sets more than Anupamaa sets as there are many like-minded people on that sets. There are people like Baseer Ali, Sohel, and Sana Sayyad, we all are from reality show backgrounds, so there’s a lot of comfort and the vibe is beautiful. Thus I decided to return to Kundali Bhagya. Having said that, I am game to work in Anupamaa if I get a pay raise or any other show for that matter, I want to try new characters and explore myself as an actor.”
