Students of ITI Cuttack have developed 16 devices to help the people including thermal scanners, drones and robots during COVID. The indigenously developed IG DRONE Delta 400 can be airborne for long endurance operations and can be used for surveying and mapping with accuracy in sub-centimeter level. The drone can carry a payload of 4 kg additionally which is now repurposed to cater the needs for the vaccine delivery by ICMR in the remote areas. According to Principal Dr Hrushikesh Mohanty, said โ€˜We’ve developed Delta 400 series. It can stay in air for upto 3 hrs. It can transport vaccine to remote areasโ€™.
