On June 12, the Enforcement Directorate and Cyber ​​Police raided a Mumbai-based event management company in connection with the Fairplay Betting App, which is a subsidiary of the Mahadev Betting App. The police have found some documents in the raid, which include the names of Jacqueline Fernandez, Sanjay Dutt and singer-rapper Badshah. Now in this case, the ED and Cyber ​​Police have recorded the statements of Badshah as well as Jacqueline and Sanjay’s managers.

According to a recent report in the Free Press Journal, the Enforcement Directorate has recorded the statements of the people involved in the case before starting the investigation. The Enforcement Directorate had examined the documents found in the raid, which revealed that Jacqueline Fernandez, Sanjay Dutt and Badshah have had transactions with the company. These stars have been involved in the promotion of the Foreplay Betting App. Statements of all have been sent for investigation.

According to media reports, Jacqueline Fernandez received money from Dubai-based company Trim General Trading LCC for endorsing the app. On the other hand, Badshah was paid by Lukos Group FZF of Melbourne, Australia. Maharashtra Cyber ​​Cell has questioned Badshah on his documents, contracts and money transaction documents. Badshah’s agreement to promote betting app with Mumbai based talent management firm, TM Ventures Private Limited and AfterArs Production Private Limited has also been found.

Sanjay Dutt got 25 lakh rupees for promoting the app

According to the Enforcement Directorate and Cyber ​​Cell, Sanjay Dutt was paid Rs 25 lakh by a Singapore-based gaming company to promote a betting app on Instagram and other social media platforms.

Ranbir Kapoor was also questioned

Let us tell you that the case of Mahadev Betting App has been going on for the last one year. In October last year, Ranbir Kapoor was questioned at the Enforcement Directorate’s office in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, in connection with promoting this app. There were no charges against him. Since Ranbir had promoted the app, he was summoned to understand the transactions with the betting app.

What is the whole matter?

In 2023, a man named Saurabh Chandrakar got married in Dubai at a cost of Rs 200 crore. He came under the radar of the Enforcement Directorate after the lavish wedding. Because Saurabh Chandrakar used to sell juice in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh a few years ago. Investigation revealed that Saurabh Chandrakar, along with his partner Ravi Uppal, indulges in money laundering by adding new users through an online sports betting app (Mahadev App).

During the investigation into the money laundering case, it was revealed that many Bollywood celebrities are also associated with this betting app and Saurabh Chandrakar. Around 14-15 Bollywood celebrities took a hefty fee to perform at Saurabh’s wedding.
