Jennifer Mistry takes legal action against Asit Modi: Complaint filed in sexual harassment case, Powai police interrogated for 6 hours

Actress Jennifer Mistry, who played the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has filed a complaint against the show’s producer Asit Kumar Modi. The actress told on Friday that she has returned to Mumbai and was called for questioning by the Powai police, where she was questioned and answered at the station for about 6 hours and she recorded her statement.

In a special conversation with ETimes TV, Jennifer Mistry said- ‘I had to come to Mumbai because I was called by the police. I went to the police station and got my statement recorded. I reached at 12 noon and left at 6:15 pm. I have told everything about him. I was there for about 6 hours. Now the law will take its course.
Jennifer further said- ‘He has told me that he will tell me if there is any need or whether I have to go or not. For the time being, I have got my statement recorded. Let’s see what happens next.

The production company told Jennifer’s allegations were wrong
After Jennifer accused Asit Modi, Suhail and Jatin of sexual harassment, the production house issued a statement accusing the actress of being indiscipline, disrespectful and misbehaving with people on the set.

Malav Rajda, Mounika Bhadoria and Priya Ahuja came in support of Jennifer
Priya Ahuja, actress Monika Bhadoria and ex-director Malav Rajda, who played the role of Rita reporter in the show, had denied all these allegations against Jennifer. He said that Jennifer always behaves well with everyone on the set. She is a very happy woman and never comes late on the set.
