1. MMMUT Recruitment
Madan Mohan Malviya Technical University of UP has announced vacancies for 110 professor posts. PhD. candidates who have done mmmut.ac.in You can apply by going to. The age limit for this has been fixed at 21 to 50 years. Candidates can apply till 28th February.
2. UPSC Recruitment
UPSC has invited applications for 120 posts of Assistant Director and others. Graduate and Masters degree holder candidates are eligible for this recruitment. upsc.gov.in You can apply by going to. In this the age limit has been fixed at 45 to 50 years. The last date to apply is 1 March 2024.

1. UPI will also work in Mauritius and Sri Lanka
On February 12, Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually launched the Unified Payment Interface or UPI service in Sri Lanka and Mauritius. Now people of Mauritius and Sri Lanka will be able to make UPI payments in India and people of India in both the countries.
On the occasion of the launch, PM Modi said, 'India's UPI is now fulfilling a new responsibility – Uniting Partners with India.'
2. Padmashree Professor Usha Kiran Khan passes away
Renowned Hindi and Maithili writer Padmashree Professor Usha Kiran Khan passed away on 11 February. He has received many awards including Hindi Award from Bihar National Language Council, Mahadevi Verma Award from the Department of Official Language, Dinkar National Award, Sahitya Akademi Award. He was honored with the Padmashree award in 2015.
Usha Kiran Khan was a resident of Laheria Sarai in Darbhanga district.
3. PM Modi gave a gift of Rs 7800 crore to Jhabua
On February 11, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth about Rs 7,300 crore in Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh. These projects include Talwara project for supplying drinking water to more than 1 thousand villages of Dhar and Ratlam. Along with this, he laid the foundation stone of CM Rise School.
PM Narendra Modi talked to the beneficiaries and took feedback of various schemes. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Governor, Union Minister and others were present.
4. JSW company will set up a plant in Cuttack
On February 10, Jindal Steel World i.e. JSW Group signed a deal with the state government of Odisha to set up a manufacturing plant. The company will set up a plant in Cuttack, where electric vehicles and EV batteries will be manufactured. JSW will develop the second plant in Paradip.

1. IIT student committed suicide
A 17-year-old student preparing for IIT JEE committed suicide before the results were declared. The student was preparing from a coaching institute in Hyderabad. He had given the recently held JEE Mains exam. After matching the answer keys of the exam, he felt that he might not be able to pass the exam, after which the student took this step. However, no suicide note has been found from the student. This is the fourth case of student suicide this year. Earlier three cases were from coaching institutes of Kota.
2. Claim of prelims exam paper being leaked
It is being claimed that the paper of RO/ARO Prelims exam has been leaked in Uttar Pradesh. In fact, after the exam held on February 11, candidates from some districts claimed that the paper had been leaked a few hours before the exam, due to which there was a lot of uproar on social media. In Ghazipur, candidates created a ruckus after the paper saying that they found sealed question papers. There has been no statement from UPPSC in this matter.
