1. Sheel Nagu became the acting Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court
On May 25, Justice Sheel Nagu took charge as the acting Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court. He replaced Chief Justice Ravi Vijaykumar Malimath, who retired on May 24. Sheel Nagu started his career as a lawyer on October 5, 1987. Justice Sheel Nagu was appointed as an additional judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court on May 27, 2011. On May 23, 2013, Sheel Nagu was appointed as a permanent judge.

2. Indian women’s compound archery team wins gold
On 25 May, the Indian women’s team won gold in the compound Archery World Cup Stage-2 being held in Yecheon, South Korea. India got silver medal in the mixed team. In the women’s final, the Indian trio of Jyoti Surekha Vennam, Preneet Kaur and Aditi Swami defeated the Turkish trio of Hazal Burun, Ayse Bera Suzer and Begum 232-226. This is the third consecutive gold for the Indian trio in the World Cup. Earlier this year, this trio had won gold by defeating Italy in the World Cup Stage-1 held in Shanghai. Earlier this year, they had also won gold in the World Cup Stage-4 held in Paris last year.

Integral Coach Factory, Chennai has issued a notification for recruitment to 1010 posts of apprenticeship. The online application process for this has started. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website pb.icf.gov.in. The last date to apply is June 21, 2024.

Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY), under the Ministry of AYUSH, has issued an advertisement for recruitment to a total of 14 different posts. According to the advertisement, MDNIY and Yoga Certification Board (YCB) are to recruit for the posts of Consultant and Senior Consultant in IT, Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Media, Social Media as well as Junior Hindi Translator. This recruitment is a certification board on temporary contract.

Educational Qualification and Work Experience

  • According to the recruitment advertisement released by MDNIY, candidates having PG degree in Yoga Science and minimum 10 years of experience can apply for Senior Consultant (YCB).
  • For IT Consultant, BE/BTech or MCA with 5 years experience.
  • Senior Consultant (Media) – PG in Journalism/Mass Communication with minimum 10 years experience is required.
  • For Consultant (Social Media), minimum 5 years experience with PG is required.

Age Range :

  • The age of the candidates should not be more than 64 years for all the posts.

1. Madhya Pradesh Board result is worse than last year

So far, more than 15 states have released the results of class 10th and 12th board exams. According to the analysis of Dainik Bhaskar, Madhya Pradesh has the lowest number of students passing in class 10th, i.e. only 58.1 percent. At the same time, Kerala has the highest number of students passing, i.e. 99.69 percent. Talking about Haryana, 30 percent more students have passed here this year as compared to 2023. Haryana’s pass percentage this year was 95.22 percent. Apart from Haryana, the results of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Uttarakhand and Bihar have also been better than 2023. At the same time, the results of Himachal, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh have been worse than last year.

2. Maharashtra Board 10th result will be released today

Today, on 27 May, the Maharashtra Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education is releasing the 10th result. The result will be released at 1 pm. This year, about 15 lakh students appeared for the exam between 1 and 26 March. Students can check their results on mahresult.nic.in.
