On June 8, media personality and chairman of Ramoji Group, Ramoji Rao passed away at 4:50 am. He breathed his last at Star Hospital in Hyderabad at the age of 87. Ramoji was admitted in the ICU since June 5. He was suffering from heart related problems.

2. Astronaut William Anders, who took the ‘Earthrise’ photo, dies
On June 7, former American astronaut William Anders died in a plane crash. He was flying a small plane alone in Washington late at night. 90-year-old Anders was a part of ‘Apollo 8’, the first mission to take humans to the moon.

1. Application process for 3000 posts in Central Bank resumed
The application process for recruitment to 3000 apprenticeship posts has been started once again by the Central Bank of India. Earlier, the last date for application for this recruitment was fixed as March 27. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website of National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) nats.education.gov.in.

Educational Qualification :
Candidates must be graduates from a recognized university/institution.

Age Range :
Candidates should be born between 1st April 1996 and 31st March 2004. However, age relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates as per Government of India guidelines.

1. IIT Madras released the results of JEE Advanced 2024 exam
IIT Madras has released the result of JEE Advanced. In the exam, Ved Lahoti of Indore secured All India Rank 1 with 355 marks out of 360. Candidates can check their result by visiting jeeadv.ac.in. On the basis of JEE Advanced score, one can take admission in BTech courses in top IITs of the country after 12th.

Counseling will start from June 10
Candidates who have passed the JEE Advanced exam will have to participate in the counseling process for IIT. This counseling process is conducted through Joint Seat Allocation Authority Counseling (JoSAA). JoSAA counseling 2024 will start tomorrow i.e. June 10. This counseling will be completed in 5 rounds between June 10 and July 26.

2. Lucknow student accuses NTA of not releasing NEET UG result
After the controversy over the grace marks in NEET UG, now a student has accused NTA of not releasing the result. Lucknow-based student Aayushi Patel said on social media platform X that NTA did not release her result on June 4. NTA said that the result cannot be released because the OMR sheet is torn. The student says that her OMR sheet has been torn intentionally.
