1. 9th meeting of the Governing Council of NITI Aayog held
On July 27, the 9th meeting of the Governing Council of NITI Aayog was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Its theme is Developed India 2047. During this, the role of states in making India developed was also discussed. NITI Aayog says that the country is on its way to becoming the third economy of the world with a GDP of 5 trillion dollars and will achieve the target of 30 trillion dollar economy by 2047.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the Chairman of NITI Aayog.
2. Three-match T20 series will start between India and Sri Lanka
The three-match T20 series between India and Sri Lanka will begin from July 27. The first match will be played at the Pallekele Stadium in Colombo. Team India will play 3-match T20 and ODI series in this tour which will run from July 27 to August 7.
This will be the first match under the captaincy of Surya Kumar Yadav and Gautam Gambhir as head coach.

1. Recruitment in IBPS
Recruitment for 6128 Clerk posts in IBPS The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) had extended the last date of registration for CRP Clerks XIV exam to be held for recruitment to more than 6 thousand posts of clerical cadre, to 28 July. Earlier, the last date for application for this recruitment was 21 July. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website.

2. Recruitment for 2006 posts in SSC
The notification for the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ exam (SSC Steno Exam 2024) to be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has been released. On selection in this exam, recruitment is to be done for the posts of Stenographer Grade C and Grade D in government ministries, departments and organizations. Opportunity will be given to correct the form on 27th and 28th August. Candidates will have to pay Rs 200 for making correction in the form for the first time and Rs 500 for making correction for the second time.
Educational Qualification :
- 12th passed.
- For Stenographer D, transcription speed required is 50 minutes in English and 65 minutes in Hindi.
- For Group C, transcription speed of 40 minutes in English and 55 minutes in Hindi is required.
Age Range :
- The age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 30 years as on 1st August.
- Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD) will be given relaxation in maximum age limit.

1. Registration for SAT begins
Registration has started for the SAT or Scholastic Entrance Test for admission in foreign colleges. This test will be held on 24 August. You can register for it till 13 August. It has two sections of Reading and Writing and Maths. Reading and Writing section has to be solved in 64 minutes and Maths section in 70 minutes. In the exam, questions of 1600 marks have to be solved in a total of 2 hours and 14 minutes.
2. NMC issued new guidelines for medical colleges
NMC i.e. National Medical Commission has asked all the medical colleges to release the list of faculty on the official website by July 31.
Actually, NMC had received complaints from some colleges about marking biometric attendance through fake fingerprints. After this, NMC has asked to release the complete list of faculty department wise and update it by the last date of every month.
