Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Chandigarh has invited applications for Nursing Officer and other posts. Intelligence Bureau has announced vacancies for ACIO, JIO, SA and other posts. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website of MHA, mha.gov.in.
Educational Qualification:
- ACIO-I/Exe and ACIO-II/Exe: Bachelor's degree, two years' experience in security or intelligence work.
- JIO-I/Exe, SA/Exe and JIO-II/Exe: 10th or equivalent qualification with five years field work experience in intelligence operations.
- JIO-II/Tech: Diploma/Bachelor degree in relevant field.
- ACIO-II/Civil Work: Bachelor of Engineering/Technology/Architecture degree.
- JIO-I/MT: 10th with valid driving license, 1 year driving experience.
- Confectioner-cum-Cook: 10th pass with Catering Diploma/Certificate, 2 years experience in Government Department or Undertaking.
- Personal Assistant: It is necessary to have 12th pass. 10 years experience in Level 4.
Age Range :
Maximum 56 years.

1. Both puja and namaz continued in Gyanvapi.
On April 1, a petition was heard in the Supreme Court against the ban on worship in the Vyas basement of the Gyanvapi complex. In this, the lawyer of the mosque side presented his arguments demanding an immediate ban on the puja. Chief Justice DY Chandrachud said- Puja in the Gyanvapi basement and namaz in the mosque will continue. The Supreme Court said that no party will be harassed without the approval and permission of the court. Following the orders of January 17 and January 31, the Muslim side is restricted to prayers at the Gyanvapi Mosque, while the Hindu priests are also confined to the puja basement.
2. Hardik Singh and Salima Tete became the best hockey players.
The 6th Hockey India Awards 2023 ceremony was held in New Delhi on 31 March. Hardik Singh and Salima Tete were named the best male and female players of 2023. PR Sreejesh received the Hockey India Baljeet Singh Award for Best Goalkeeper.
Hardik Singh of Punjab is the vice captain of the Indian hockey team.
Under the leadership of Hardik, the team won the bronze medal in Tokyo Olympics 2023. Hardik has also received the FIH Best Player Award in 2023. Salima Tete won the bronze medal in the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games.
3. Production starts at Adani Total Gas's Barsana plant
On March 31, Adani Group company Adani Total Gas Limited started production at its plant in Barsana, Uttar Pradesh. This project is worth a total of Rs 200 crore, which is to be completed in three phases.
This plant will process 225 tonnes of agricultural waste daily.
10 tons of biogas will be produced daily from this plant. Once fully operational, 600 tonnes of organic waste will be processed here. This will produce 42 TPD (42 tonnes per day) compressed biogas and 217 tonnes of organic manure. The company claims that this will be India's largest bio-CNG plant based on agri waste.
4. Successful test of BrahMos missile
On March 29, the Indian Army successfully tested the supersonic cruise missile BrahMos from Andaman and Nicobar Islands. This Rising Sun missile is capable of hitting its target at a distance of more than 450 kilometers.
The range of BrahMos missile has been increased by updating.
Earlier, the Air Force had tested BrahMos missile on 4 January 2024. It can be launched from submarine, warship, aircraft or even land. The speed of this missile is about 6 thousand kilometers per hour. Russia's NPO Mashinostroyenia and India's DRDO have jointly created it.

1. JEE Mains Session 2 admit card released
NTA has released the admit card for session 2 of JEE Mains 2024. This admit card is for the exams to be held on 4th, 5th and 6th April. Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of JEE Mains, jeemain.nta.ac.in.
2. KVS started the admission process
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has started the application process for admission in classes 1st to 12th. Registration for the first class can be done till April 15. Whereas registration for class 11th will start after the announcement of 10th board results.
3. Final result of IBPS PO 2024 released
IBPS PO 2024 final result has been released. Candidates can check their marks of main exam and interview on ibps.in.
