1. RBI retains repo rate at 6.5%

3. Sarabjot Singh won gold in shooting
On June 6, India got its first gold in the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup being held in Munich, Germany. Sarabjot Singh won the gold medal in 10m air pistol. China’s Bu Shuai Heng finished second with a score of 242.5. Robin Walter of Germany won the bronze medal. Sarabjot Singh won bronze in the 10m air pistol event of the Asian Shooting Championship 2023.

4. Bird flu virus found in humans for the first time
On June 5, the World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed the first human death from bird flu. A man in Mexico died from the H5N2 virus, which has never been found in humans before. He complained of fever, shortness of breath and diarrhea. He suffered from chronic kidney failure, diabetes and high blood pressure. H5N2 is a type of avian influenza virus found in birds and chickens.

Sainik School Jhunjhunu (Rajasthan) has released recruitment for various posts including Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), Medical Officer, Nursing Sister. Candidates can apply by visiting the website ssjhunjhunu.com.

After the application process starts, candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website ibps.in.

This includes 5585 posts of Multipurpose Office Assistant (Clerk), 3499 posts of Officer Scale I, 21 posts of Trainee Manager Scale II and 129 posts of Officer Scale III.

Educational Qualification :

Must possess Bachelor Degree/ CA/ LLB Degree.

Age Range :

The age limit is 18 to 40 years as per the post. Age relaxation will be given to the candidates of reserved category.
